Are You Logging Miles?

Are You Logging Miles?

Looking for that extra bit of motivation to get out of bed in the morning or change into running gear after work?  While we are loving the Spring weather, we also know that sometimes things come up that take us away from our fitness goals.  To help you stay on track, stay motivated and reach those goals, here are a few ideas:

Running Journal:

Try starting a running journal.  When you start actually logging your miles in a notebook, you will see your progress: how many miles you are running each week and how long it takes you to run those miles.  Maybe add a note or two about your run, what you liked, what you didn’t and how you felt.  These notes are helpful later and are sometimes fun to read months from now!

Running Apps:

Another alternative to physically writing down your time and distance is to get a running app.  There are so many good options out there that will not only track your mileage and time, they will also remember your routes and give you motivational messages while connecting you with other runners.

Fitness Trackers:

Fitness trackers are a great way to keep you engaged with your fitness goals throughout the day.  Whether you are trying to count steps and keep yourself moving during the workday or want to know how much sleep you are getting, fitness trackers can keep you up to date on overall health and fitness.

While you are accomplishing your fitness goals, if you’ve got time, snap a picture and tag us!  We’d love to be a part of your routine.  We like to see our followers on social media wearing their favorite pair of Lock Laces®.  Check us out on Instagram  Facebook  Twitter
